Latham posts record results

Latham & Watkins has posted a 14 per cent rise in average profit per equity partner (PEP) off the back of a 17 per cent rise in gross revenues for 2005.

Average PEP increased from $1.4m in 2004 to $1.6m, while revenues grew from $1.2bn to $1.4bn.

London managing partner David Miles told The Lawyer 2005 had been “a record year” both in the UK and firmwide.

“We have been absolutely flat out all year,” he added.
