Latham entrusts Dubai to London partner

Latham & Watkins has shaken up its Middle East management structure – replacing its regional partner Rindala Beydoun in favour of London partner Bryant Edwards.

Edwards, who joined the firm in 1981 and was formerly chair of the corporate department in London, has relocated to the firm’s Dubai office.

Beydoun joined the firm from Vinson & Elkins, where she was a corporate partner, in February this year. Despite being a relative newcomer to the role, Latham put her in charge of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Doha, which were launched simultaneously earlier this year.

Middle East chairman Bill Voge said: “Rindala did a phenomenal job getting us up and running in three different offices in a short time. But we felt it was best to put the seasoned guy in the role.”
