Laserforms for Windows, the software for filling out forms on computer screen, has won the Outstanding Technology Award from the Society for Computers and Law.
The prestigious award was presented to Laserforms' managing director Barry Hawley-Green by Lord Woolf on 5 February. The ceremony took place at the Law Society.
John Irving, director of the Professional Practices Unit at BDO Stoy Hayward, who chaired the panel of judges, said: "We chose Laserforms for Windows because it can be used by the largest and smallest firm; it is easy to use and we were impressed that Laserforms has continually updated the system to utilise new technology developments."
Other finalists were IBM's Voicewriter, Legal Technology's Showcase and Execomp from Cadence Europress.
