Landwell wins Ansbacher and Handelsbanken work

Landwell, PriceWaterhouseCoopers' tied law firm, has won Ansbacher and Handelsbanken as clients

The two banks were brought in by Russell Dellar, a former senior associate at Denton Wilde Sapte who has just joined Landwell as head of real estate.
Dellar had several major financial institutions in his practice at Dentons, including the Royal Bank of Scotland, DZ Bank and KBC Bank. Since moving to Landwell last month, he has received one instruction from Ansbacher and four from Handelsbanken. The deals are £10-£12m property developments and he has also referred work to Landwell's Paris and Madrid offices.
A Dentons spokeswoman said: “We did a limited amount of work for the two banks and most of it was handled by Russell. It made sense for the clients to go to Landwell with him.”
