This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Landwell, the network of law firms associated with PricewaterhouseCoopers, has taken on the former managing director of Simmons & Simmons.
Accountant Alan Morris will join as head of global operations, having left Simmons last spring at the end of a three-year term.
He was the firm's finance director before taking on the management role, and was replaced by managing partner David Dickinson.
Under his leadership Simmons introduced performance-related incentives for partners and abolished the concept of salaried partners.
At Landwell he will develop a seamless global law practice to offer clients improved service delivery.
At the same time Landwell has taken on seven more partners around the world. In the UK Wilde Sapte property partner Amanda Benham joins the real estate practice and Simon Walker joins the corporate department from O'Melveny & Myers in Hong Kong.
The others have been appointed at offices in Australia, Belgium and Denmark.
