Lancashire Council picks four for new panel

Addleshaw Goddard, Eversheds, Irwin Mitchell and Masons have all won places on Lancashire County Council’s PPP, PFI and commercial panel.

Ian Fisher, the council’s head of legal services, said: “The four firms were appointed from more than 40 who expressed an interest. They were selected because of their expertise in the relevant areas and their commitment to joint working and ensuring that the county council receives high-quality and cost-effective legal support in what is an expanding area of activity.”

Masons has gained a place on the panel for the first time. Eversheds has been working with the council for the last three years and has been re-appointed to the panel. Recent projects the firm has worked on include schools and waste PFI work.
