Kuwait head joins DLA Piper's LLP board

Abdul Aziz Al-Yaqout, the recently appointed head of DLA Piper’s Kuwait office, has been elected as a member of the firm’s international LLP board.

The position, which runs for a period of up to three years, became available following Janet Legrand’s election to senior partner.

Al-Yaqout’s role will be to represent the interests of the wider partnership and he will sit alongside executive and elected members. Al-Yaqout, a Kuwaiti national, moved from the firm’s Cologne office to Kuwait in June 2009 after the former head of the office Alex Saleh left the firm.
