Kuit Steinart head takes in-house role

Manchester-based Kuit Steinart Levy's managing partner is stepping down after 20 years at the firm to take over as managing director at Airline Services.

Bryan Bodek will join the airline support services company next year.

He is already a non-executive director at Airline Services, which has been one of Kuit Steinart Levy's clients since 1988.

Bodek, who also heads the corporate and commercial department at the 15-partner firm, has been managing partner since 1996 and will be replaced by Jonathan Marks, the former managing partner of Hammelburger Marks which merged with Kuit Steinart Levy in January last year.

Bodek will remain as a partner at Kuit Steinart Levy: “I will continue to deal with the strategic development of the firm.

“I will be involved in partner meetings and will be brought in on ad hoc roles. Obviously there are certain clients who will want to retain my services.”

Richard Levy, who has been with the firm for 10 years will take over the running of the corporate and commercial department.

Commenting on his managing director role in the air company, Bodek says: “I have been a director for some time, and I want to take the company to the next stage of development.”

Bodek will be replacing Alan Sixsmith, who founded Airline Services in 1988 and will now become the support service company's executive chairman.
