Appointment of chartered accountant Mark Feeney to chief executive's role follows firm-wide strategic review
Lincoln's Inn firm KSB Law has appointed chartered accountant Mark Feeney as chief executive. Feeney who has previously been chief executive of Russell Jones & Walker and finance director at Shoosmiths joins the 20-partner firm with at a time when it is looking to make lateral hires at all levels of seniority.
Jonathan Wood, KSB Law's senior partner said: "This appointment represents a major step forward for the firm. It follows a fundamental strategic review in early 2002. The partnership concluded that to develop the business further, it needed to move to a more streamlined corporate style structure."
The new management structure was introduced shortly after the firm's managing partner Charles Rankmore retired in April.
Litigation partner Ken Smith who is also a board member said: "Mark comes with a wealth of experience in managing growth in a similar environment. His appointment is intended to help the partners expand the business and grow."
