US litigation firm Kobre & Kim has hired its second barrister in less than a month.
Enterprise Chambers’ Tim Prudhoe is due to join the firm today (17 May). His arrival is the latest stage in the firm’s ambitious plans to expand its London office. Last week The Lawyer reported (10 May) on the arrival of former Fladgate partner and aviation group head Simon Cullingworth, while James Corbett QC arrived from Serle Court three weeks ago.
Prudhoe’s practice focuses mainly on company and commercial litigation, corporate insolvency and contentious trust work. As well as undertaking work in the UK he is also admitted to practise in Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands and the Turks and Caicos Islands.
“I’ve worked with Tim before and have a high professional regard for him,” commented Corbett. “He’s a very capable barrister and has the skills and seniority that we need.”
