K&L Gates London raids Nabarro for tax partner

K&L Gates has boosted its London tax practice with the hire of partner Paul Beausang from Nabarro.

Beausang's hire comes as US firms in London add to their tax expertise to support transactional practice areas in European markets.

Tony Griffiths, administrative partner at K&L Gates in London, said: "Paul's proven track record in advising real estate investment vehicles will help further develop our relationships with our institutional real estate clients."

Beausang was part of the Nabarro team that last year won a prize mandate advising energy company BP on the company pension fund's real estate investments. His practice focuses on the tax elements of real estate funds and property deals.
