Kirkpatrick & Lockhart has taken its second Cooley Godward partner in as many months, this time to bolster its IP practice.
Kathryn Wheble, a partner for ten years at Cooley Godward, will move to Kirkpatrick’s San Francisco office. There she will join Christopher Wright, an anti-trust and trade regulation partner who also, like Wheble, practices IP law.
Wright joined Kirkpatrick & Lockhart in May however since then Cooley Godward has recruited Craig Waldman, an anti-trust partner from Clifford Chance
Kirkpatrick’s two new recruits will both be based at the firm’s San Francisco office which opened in April 2000 and now houses 35 lawyers.
