Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham has recruited the head of legal and business affairs from client Music Choice Europe.
Gregor Pryor joins Kirkpatrick as a senior associate in the firm's London entertainment group. Pryor was a member of Hammonds commercial and IP department before moving in-house.
Digital music pioneer Music Choice Europe was acquired in August by IG Co, a consortium of private investors, for £2.65m.
International head of entertainment Nigel Davies said: "We're making a big push into digital media."
Kirkpatrick is aiming to bolster its entertainment group on both sides of the Atlantic. The firm's Los Angeles office recently hired the Andrew Lurie, the former director of business affairs for Sony Music in New York.
The firm also opened a Palo Alto office in May with two partners from Coudert Brothers.
