King & Spalding adds five lawyers to Middle East practice

King & Spalding has bulked up its presence in the Middle East with the addition of five lawyers to its offices in Dubai, Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.

Counsel Mazhar Khan and associate Hassan Al Jarrah join in Abu Dhabi, senior associate Phillip Sacks joins in Dubai and associates Sanjarbek Abdukhalilov and Martin Forster-Jones join in Riyadh.

Khan comes from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he was a senior associate in the firm’s corporate department.

Al Jarrah specialises in corporate and commercial law and he moves from Simmons & Simmons.

Sacks comes from Walkers, where he concentrated on funds and corporate work in the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands.

Abdukhalilov advises on M&A, joint ventures and corporate restructurings and he joins from SNR Denton.

Forster-Jones comes from Bonheur, a London-based legal outsourcing provider he founded after leaving Linklaters. He focuses on debt capital markets and finance transactions, securitisations and restructurings.
