King & Spalding in double London hire

US firm King & Spalding has bolstered its London office, hiring a new partner and counsel. Energy partner Jonathan Martin arrives from Watson Farley & Williams, having played a prominent role in its international corporate group.

Peter Bowring, a cross-border project and acquisition finance specialist, joins the firm as counsel from US energy specialist Vinson & Elkins.

The new arrivals boost the number of lawyers in King & Spalding's London office to 27, eight of whom are partners.
