US firm King & Spalding has promoted 12 associates to partner level, including two in London. The firm has made up eight partners across its US offices, two in Abu Dhabi, where the firm opened in March (The Lawyer, 24 March), and two in London. In the UK Michael Rainey and Pulina Whitaker join the partnership.
Rainey joins the finance practice, while Whitaker, who heads the London employment and benefits practice, will join the corporate group.
