Kennedys has made up six associates to partner, twice the number made up last year.
The firm appointed five new partners in the UK and one in its Hong Kong office. William Brow, Martin Chesher, Michael Howard and Catherine Shuttleworth all practise in the insurance division, while David Wright practises in health and safety, employment and commercial litigation.
Clinical negligence specialist Christine Tsang becomes the second female partner in Hong Kong, joining Kelly Wong. Senior partner Nick Thomas said: “I’m delighted that, both in the UK and worldwide, our business continues to expand to such an extent as to enable us to appoint this number of new partners from within.”
The appointments bring the total number of partners at Kennedys to 94.
