If you weren’t a lawyer what would you have been? Professional darts player.
Who’s your hero and why? Lewis Hamilton – isn’t it obvious?
What’s the best thing about your job? The people.
What’s the toughest thing about your job? Not seeing my kids.
What’s your biggest work/ career mistake and what did you learn from it? Nearly suing a client without checking that they were a client. Don’t sue your clients.

What’s on your iPod at the moment? Nothing – it got wet.
What’s your favourite children’s book? The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling.
What’s the most exciting deal/case you’ve worked on and why? Icelandic banks – we acted on two banks going into administration on consecutive days. Extraordinary times.
If you were stranded on a desert island what two luxury items would you take? A gun and a car.
What’s the worst partner conference location you’ve attended and why? Novotel London. Do you really need to ask?
What’s the longest you’ve worked without sleep? Eighty-three hours.
If a movie was being made about your life, which actor would play you and why? Gerard Depardieu. Something to do with the nose.
