Kellerman to lead Morgan Lewis Palo Alto push

Brobeck Hale & Dorr’s former managing partner has resurfaced at Morgan Lewis & Bockius.

Tom Kellerman stepped down as managing partner of Brobeck Hale & Dorr, the European joint venture between Brobeck Phleger & Harrison and Boston-based Hale & Dorr, in February shortly after the collapse of the West Coast firm.

Shortly before his decision to give up the role and eventually move to a new firm, it was announced that Hale & Dorr would take over the joint venture’s European offices.

In his new role as the managing partner of Morgan Lewis’s Palo Alto office, Kellerman will rejoin many of his former partners from Brobeck who moved to the firm.

Following the disintegration of Brobeck, Morgan Lewis, which had been in merger talks with the firm, took on the lion’s share of West Coast practice’s lawyers, including around 50 partners.
