Huddling together for warmth, thousands of Joneses are gathering today in Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium. Their aim? To break the world record for the biggest get-together of people with the same surname.
There’s a fair chance that one or two lawyers are in the crowd right now, handing out their business cards. After all, there are 1,039 lawyers in England and Wales with that surname.

That’s enough to smash the previous record, held for a gathering of 583 Norbergs in Sweden.
There’s still time for the cream of the legal profession to turn up.
