Keating takes on 2 Temple Gardens silk

Leading construction set Keating Chambers has bolstered its specialist practice with the addition of highly-rated David Thomas QC from 2 Temple Gardens.

Thomas, who took silk earlier this year, made the move with junior Adam Constable, who is a fellow construction and engineering specialist. Both started at Keating last week.

“We just saw the business logic of joining a talented team with great depth and the client care culture that exists here,” said Thomas.

Thomas already shares a number of clients with Keating, including Hamm-onds, Masons, Warner Cranston and Wragge & Co.

Thomas was also attracted by the chambers' new purpose-built premises on Essex Street, which the set moved into over the summer.

Senior clerk Barry Bridgman said the set, which now boasts 41 tenants, including 15 silks, could accommodate further growth.
