Kaye Scholer has hired a Brown Rudnick structured finance partner to bolster its New York practice.
Partner Madeleine Tan joined the firm on 1 August, just weeks after Kaye Scholer made two structured finance hires from Thacher Proffitt & Wood. As reported on TheLawyer.com (21 July) the firm took on Thacher Proffitt partners William Cullen and Janet Barbiere in New York.
Kaye Scholer co-chair of structured finance Henry Morriello said of Tan's appointment: "Madeleine joining the firm as well as Janet and William further solidifies Kaye Scholer's position as one of the leading structured finance practices in the US."
Tan's expertise in structured finance and climate and energy has seen her work on a range of deals, including structured products involving commodities such as carbon credits.
