The UK's largest mutual life and pensions company Royal London has scooped a new group legal director and company secretary from Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander.
Chris Aujard was head of group legal and compliance at Kaupthing. He will lead a legal team of nine at Royal London.
Stephen Shone, Royal London group finance director, said: "We’re delighted to welcome Chris to the team. I'm sure his experience within the financial services industry will prove invaluable as we drive the business forward."
Aujard replaces Murray Ross, who is retiring after being with Royal London for 13 years. Ross is also a member of the Law Society's audit committee.
