Do you see your colleagues on weekends? Only in my nightmares (only joking).
Firm: Taylor Wessing
Position: PA to Tim Eyles, managing partner
What time do you start work each day?
As soon as I crawl out of bed.
What’s the most boring thing you’ve been asked to do in your job?
Every day is full of new and exciting challenges.
How much time do you spend on Facebook each week?
Facebook – what’s that?
What is the most unusual Christmas present that you have received from a colleague?
Working for colleagues who are so thoughtful nothing unusual springs to mind, although my husband did get me an A-Z of London one year.
If you could introduce one law, what would it be and why?
Compulsory pamper day once a month for reasons that I hope are obvious.
How did you spend your last bonus? (If you have never received a bonus, how would you hope to spend it in the future)?
A bit of retail therapy never goes amiss.
What are the best perks of your role?
Having a job that I really enjoy, working with Tim and other great colleagues in such a fab building in New Street Square.
What do you wear on dress-down Fridays?
What are they? We dress up every day here.
Have you ever been asked to do anything at work that you suspect might have been illegal?
Not sure it would be in my best interests to admit to this.
What is the most irritating habit of any partner you’ve worked for?
Starting to produce work at 5pm every day.
How do you unwind after the end of a hard week?
Going for walks with my family and dogs and perhaps the odd glass of lemonade (with a touch of Pernod).
Do you see your colleagues on weekends?
Only in my nightmares (only joking).
Have you ever fallen in love at work? (If so, please provide details).
Never mix business with pleasure.
If you were a lawyer what would your practice area be and why?
Media and entertainment – you just never know who you might meet.
What do you eat for lunch?
Unfortunately due to lack of exercise over the winter months a lettuce leaf, although we do have a great restaurant on the ninth floor with fantastic views from the terrace.
Is your salary (in thousands) greater than your age?
Being on the wrong side of 50 that would be nice.
What items do you always carry around with you at work?
Pen and notebook (when I remember) – I am prone to having senior moments.
Of whom do you have photos on your desk?
My family and a picture of Bulgaria, where we love to unwind.
What’s your favourite local?
I much prefer sitting out on the patio with a nice glass of my favourite tipple.
Soy Latte or Nescafe?
Nice cuppa tea.
City break or weekend in the country?
Definitely weekend in the country.
Sum up your firm, chambers or employer in three words.
International, exciting, friendly.
