This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
US firm has promoted 45 lawyers into its partnership globally, with five of the total coming in London.
The five City promotions are in real estate (Iain Hindhaugh), equity capital markets (Sebastian Orton), private equity (Patrick Stafford), financial litigation (Harriet Territt) and commercial litigation (Rhys Thomas). All five lawyers joined Jones Day in 2001.
The partner-in-charge of Jones Day’s London office John Phillips said the promotions demonstrated both the firm’s commitment to growing its London office and its continuing emphasis on developing and promoting UK associates.
Outside of London, another 12 of this year’s crop of 45 promotions have been made across Jones Day’s European network of offices.
“The promotion of these new partners reflects Jones Day’s ongoing commitment to developing and advancing lawyers throughout the world who have achieved the highest levels of professional accomplishment,” said Stephen Brogan, managing partner of Jones Day in a statement.
