Jones Day has boosted its London banking and finance group with the addition of former Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw (MBRM) partner Michael Pabst.
Pabst, who made partner at MBRM in 2002, is a dual-qualified English and Australian lawyer who previously served as an associate at Slaughter and May.
His experience includes acting for financial institutions, sponsors, funds and corporates. His practice focuses on acquisition, projects and emerging markets financing and restructurings as well as structured derivatives finance in the context of tax-related asset and commodities deals.
At Jones Day Pabst will work alongside banking and finance head Ed Nalbantian, who said Pabst’s experience will bring depth to the finance practice.
