Jones Day Gouldens’ London office has suffered the loss of a second legacy Jones Day partner in just over three months.
The departure of corporate partner Nick Alfillee at the end of last year follows the resignation of the firm’s head of real estate and environmental Linda Fletcher to Paul Hastings Janosky & Walker in October.
Confirming the resignation, Jones Day’s partner-in-charge of London Russell Carmedy told The Lawyer that Alfillee left the firm on amicable terms.
Carmedy added that Alfillee, who was a partner at Jones Day for three years is now considering whether to stay in the law.
