Jones Day Reavis & Pogue has boosted its Paris, Madrid and Belgian offices with the recruitment of five new partners.
The firm's Madrid office takes on two-partner competition practice G&J Abogados, while the Paris office is gaining two corporate partners from Stibbe Simont Monahan Duhot.
Stibbe partners Oliver Edwards and Jean-Marc Franceschi will join the firm's new economy practice.
The Belgian tax practice has recruited Morgan Lewis & Bockius' Brussels managing partner. Howard Liebman, an international tax and corporate restructuring specialist, is taking assistant Peter Parmentier with him to Jones Day, where they will join the only existing tax lawyer in the office, associate Francois-Xavier Jeanmart.
Morgan Lewis is left with one tax partner, one EC partner and one EC associate in Brussels.
