This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Jomati, the management consultancy headed by former Clifford Chance managing partner Tony Williams, has hired the founder and former head of Barclays' professional services team John Robinson.
Robinson will advise law firms on their financial strategies, including capital requirements, debt funding and transactional banking.
Robinson said his time at Barclays had made it obvious that there was much that firms could do to improve their financial performances by managing effectively their financing arrangements and controlling their financial exposures.
"As firms become bigger and more international in their operations, there's an increasing need to manage their financing arrangements on a professional and global basis," he said.
Robinson was with Barclays for 38 years and has 17 years' experience working directly in the professional services sector.
