Hong Kong’s largest firm, Johnson Stokes & Master’s senior partner Robert Lynn has stepped down and is to be replaced by the firm’s managing partner of its commercial practice, Elaine Lo.
Lynn is remaining as a partner in the firm’s real estate practice while John Marsden is to take the role of managing partner for the firm’s commercial department.
The firm’s commercial team has also seen the appointment of Jeckle Chiu and Leonie Mong as partners. Both partners will focus on corporate finance work with Chui based in Hong Kong and Mong based in Beijing.
JSM has made a number of key appointments into other practices in its Hong Kong office. Wilfred Tong and Jason Choi have been made partners into JSM’s real estate department. Both Choi and Tong have experience in real estate and financing related transactions with Tong having exposure to real estate acquisitions and financings for properties in Hong Kong and Macau.
Tow Lu Lim has been made partner into the firm’s litigation team and will focus on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious insurance related matters while Hong Tran has been appointed as partner in the firm’s employment team focusing on employment and personal data privacy.
