Joanne McGuinness
McGuinness has considerable experience in advising on all aspects of commercial real-estate transactions and the property aspects of corporate-based matters.

Her practice encompasses development work in the Rail, Industrial, Retail and Leisure sectors, as well the large-scale portfolio management, disposals and acquisitions in the retail, leisure and corporate occupier sectors and complex strategic acquisitions.
McGuinness acts for a number of well-known developers, retailers, insurers, manufactures and corporate occupiers. She heads up the Real Estate Team in the Solent offfice.
McGuinness qualified in 1987 and joined Shoosmiths as a partner in 2005 having previously worked at Denton Wilde Sapte (now SNR Denton) where she was made a partner in 1999.
