French stalwart Jeantet & Associés has posted a revenue hike of 10 per cent for the second year running.
The firm saw turnover rise from €28.9m (£19.9m) in 2003 to €31.7m (£21.8m) in 2004. This follows a 9.5 per cent improvement between 2002 and 2003.
Last year, Jeantet hired two new partners: former EY Law employment head Anne-Elisabeth Combes joined in October after public law specialist Marc Fornacciari arrived in July.
The firm now has 22 partners and in 2004 advised on 28 corporate deals worth €3.6bn (£2.47bn), with clients including Vivendi Universal and technology company Areva.
Fellow French independent Veil Jourde posted a static turnover for 2004 of €17m (£11.7m) after recently losing an eight-lawyer team to Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson.
