Jason Jackson
Jason Jackson is head of the Birmingham office and leads the Birmingham real-estate team. He is also a commercial real-estate specialist with particular focus on property development.

He works directly with several national property developers advising on site acquisitions, pre-let arrangements with end users and forward funding arrangements with pension funds and investors. Jackson also has experience in joint venture arrangements, particularly between developers. He also has a great deal of experience in acting for developers who use offshore vehicles to develop and trade properties within the UK.
Jackson’s experience covers the full range of transactions and in particular, property development for offices, leisure, retail and mixed-use schemes as well as facilitating property-led corporate transactions in conjunction with our corporate and tax teams in Birmingham.
He previously practised at Wragge & Co for eight years before joining Shoosmiths in 2004.
