James Wilson is recommended in the major legal directories as one of the world’s foremost maritime lawyers.
Wilson was elected as Ince & Co’s senior partner in March 2008. He has been with the firm since 1983, when he joined as a trainee upon graduating from Magdalene College, Cambridge.
He is a director of Maritime London, a not-for-profit professional body for UK-based companies that provides professional services to the international shipping industry.
Wilson is a qualified and practising commercial mediator. He was instrumental in the development of the Maritime Solicitors Mediation Service (MSMS) — an initiative by maritime firms in England to promote the use of mediation in the maritime sector.
