North East firm Jacksons has split its core areas of business into two new firms. The firms insurance practice will be spun-off into a separate practice comprising managing partner Richard Clarke and six other partners.
The firms commercial and private client practice will have 10 partners, including senior partner Kevin Fletcher.
Clarke said: "The benefit to the firm and our clients will be a more focused, efficient and dynamic environment in which to develop each practice in their respective marketplaces."
The demerger will take effect from 1 September when the names of the two new firms will be announced.
