Italy’s Lablaw moves into Naples via local association

Italian employment boutique Lablaw is entering the Neapolitan market through an association with local firm Fontana Studio Legale.

The firm already has five regional offices across Italy, in Rome, Milan, Padua (6 October 2011), Pescara and Genoa. However, it is not opening its own office in Naples, choosing instead to work in association with Fontana.

Fontana is headed by employment specialist Giorgio Fontana and includes another six lawyers. Fontana acts for companies and the public sector and also lectures in employment law at the Mediterranea University’s Law School in Reggio Calabria as well as being a lecturer for post graduate studies there.

Lablaw’s founding partners Luca Failla and Francesco Rotondi said the association would open a “new avenue” for Lablaw in southern Italy.

Fontana added that the alliance would see the introduction of a larger firm into the region and would mean that clients’ needs both nationally and internationally would be met.
