IT partner Little quits Simmons for Jones Day

Outsourcing and IT partner Jonathan Little has joined Jones Day just 18 months after joining Simmons & Simmons.

Little was a name partner at leading IT boutique Kemp Little before quitting for Simmons in March 2005.

Little commented: “It was not a long time at Simmons but this just suited me.”

Little has regularly moved firms throughout his career. He has had previous stints at Bird & Bird, Baker & McKenzie and Linklaters.

His biggest client is EDS, which is also a client of Jones Day in the US. The firm has been looking to boost its IT and outsourcing expertise in recent months. Little’s arrival follows that of Mark Taylor, who joined from Lovells in September.

Simmons IT and outsourcing team is led by partners David Barrett, Michael Sinclair and Peter Brudenall.
