Solicitors in the Government. Social security secretary Harriet Harman and trade minister Lord Clinton-Davis both got the boot in Tony Blair's reshuffle, leaving Mike O'Brien as the sole solicitor representative in the Government.

Anyone who wants to have a look around Lord Chancellor's jazzed-up apartments. Apparently, so many people want to see them that the waiting list is stretching well into next year, if not the year 2000.
