Wilsons has made up two new partners in its annual promotion round, less than a month after unveiling a new London office.
This year’s new partners, who are spread between the firm’s Sailsbury office and its new London base, are in the firm’s charities and employment teams.
Gillian Fletcher, who joined the firm’s charities and education team last September from Berwin Leighton Paisner, joins the partnership in the firm’s newLincoln’s Inn Fields base (5 August 2008).
Deborah West, who is an experienced lawyer in both contentious and non-contentious employment law, will be based at the firm’s Salisbury headquarters.
Managing partner Jonathan Stephens said: “In our business, hiring the very best people is absolutely essential and these promotions demonstrate the importance we place upon developing leading teams of individuals for the long-term, both in London and in Salisbury.”
The promotions will take the partnership to 33, with a total of 93 lawyers and 176 members of staff.
