White & Case bulks up Moscow with two hires and one relocation

White & Case has bulked up its Russian presence with the addition of three new partners.

Grigory Chernyshov, Jonathan Langley and Alexandra Schukina join the firm’s Moscow office.

Chernyshov comes from Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners to head White & Case’s Russian dispute resolution practice. He was previously a partner at Egorov.

Langley relocates from White & Case’s London office to join the corporate department. His practice focuses primarily on M&A and joint ventures. Previously a senior associate, he has worked on Russia-related transactions since joining the London office in 2007.

Schukina joins from Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom in the capital markets department. Her practice focuses on equity and debt capital markets transactions. She was previously a senior associate at Skadden.

This latest spate of hires follows the departure of White & Case partner Jennifer Josefson, who joined King & Spalding’s new Moscow office earlier this year (10 May 2011).
