SNR Denton has shaken up its UK LLP leadership team, with partner Matthew Jones named as chief executive.
Projects specialist Jones succeeds Howard Morris, who is now global integration partner (28 February 2011). Corporate lawyer Martin Kitchen has been appointed senior partner for the UK LLP while Brandon Ransley will continue as UK managing partner.
The latest shake-up comes as part of the firm’s quest for closer alignment following the merger between legacy firms Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal and Denton Wilde Sapte in 2010.
To this end, the firm has created a senior level management board to set strategy and manage the EMEA region. The board members are: Nigel Barnett (London), Jeremy Cohen (London), Neil Cuthbert (Dubai), Chris Denny (Milton Keynes), Leigh Hall (Doha), Richard Macklin (London), Christopher McGee-Osborne (London), Serge Sergiou (London), Scott Singer (London) and Marla Valdez (Almaty).
“With a number of key goals already achieved more quickly than anticipated, today’s transitions further our leadership integration and more closely align our EMEA and US Regions as we first envisioned,” said global chief executive Elliott Portnoy.
