Linklaters Stockholm continues to shrink as tax team heads to Vinge

The exodus from Linklaters’ Stockholm office has continued with the defection of four associates to local firm Vinge.

Tax specialist Odile Fallenius will join Vinge as a partner in February 2011 following maternity leave. Joining Fallenius is a team of three associates: Paul Dali, Tora Hansjons and Lina Hansson.

The new additions bring Vinge’s tax group to around 20 lawyers.

Managing partner Michael Wigge said: “We’re very happy that we successfully managed to recruit Odile and her colleagues to Vinge despite fierce competition from other firms. The recruitment will further strengthen our tax group and make Vinge one of the leading tax law firms.”

Fallenius said: “It really is going to be interesting to start at Vinge and work with their tax group. The experience gained from working at Linklaters has given me this possibility to progress in my career. I’m looking forward to starting work at Vinge.”

Since entering Stockholm in 2000, Linklaters has gone from 35 to nine partners with two – Martin Börresen (1 April 2010) and Peter Högström – leaving for Ashurst and Lindahl respectively, earlier this year.
