Three partners have left Howrey’s Chicago office to join Morgan Lewis, including office managing partner David Clough and consumer class action chief Kenneth Kliebard.
Clough joins Morgan Lewis as a partner in its Chicago IP practice. Before becoming a lawyer he was a post-doctoral fellow in Harvard Medical School’s department of microbiology and molecular genetics. His practice focuses on the health and pharmaceuticals industries.
“His technical background and deep understanding of the challenges facing life sciences companies will be a tremendous resource for our clients,” said Morgan Lewis IP head Kell Damsgaard.
Kliebard, a member of Howrey’s Chicago management committee, has joined Morgan Lewis as a partner in its litigation practice. His practice includes antitrust, class action defence, false advertising and product liability. He is joined by fellow Howrey IP partner Scott Schutte.
