Bond Pearce and RPC are the latest firms to unveil partnership promotions, with RPC adding two lawyers to its all-equity partnership while Bond Pearce has promoted five.
RPC managing partner Jonathan Watmough said because of the firm’s all-equity model the threshold for partnership entry was higher.
Watmough added: “Our IP and banking litigation teams have both grown significantly in recent years on the back of sustained investment. We’re looking forward to working with Paul and Andy as we develop these core practices of our business.”
At Bond Pearce, the firm has added a partner to each of the followingpractices: real estate; commercial; employment; casualty and property risks; and commercial litigation.
It is a bumper round for Bond Pearce, which last year promoted two lawyers.
It has been a year of growth for RPC, which launched its first international office in Singapore last year following the hire of Barlow Lyde & Gilbert insurance and reinsurance partner Mark Errington (27 October 2011).
Bond Pearce promotions:
Anthony Alderman – real estate
Paula Bartlett – commercial
Joanne Boyle – employment
David Brown – casualty and property risks
Ian Newcombe – commercial litigation
Paul Joseph – intellectual property
Andy McGregor – litigation
