Blogging sense of it all

For those of you who felt the Daily Mail’s Melanie Phillips’ delightful ramblings on England’s riots couldn’t quite provide you with all you needed to know, The Lawyer has compiled some of the best blogs to come out of the chaos (see story).

The blogs include contributions by writers, lawyers and witnesses to the violence who have tried to make sense of the riots, scruitnised their coverage or explored the legal issues raised over the past week.

And for those of you that can’t take your eyes off your Twitter feed for a minute, there’s the excellent ’Without Prejudice’ podcast, chaired by Charon QC, barrister Carl Gardner and lawyer/blogger David Allen Green, looking at the Riot (Damages) Act 1886, and whether looters should be denied social housing.

After all that, you can log off and go home.
