Beachcroft has picked up a partner from Eversheds following a successful pitch for work for telecoms giant O2.
Eversheds partner Morag Joyce has joined Beachcroft along with a team of four legal executives and a key account co-ordinator.
Beachcroft will act for O2, which is owned by Spanish company Telefónica, on its cell site network roll-out and asset management for the north and central region of the UK, covering contentious and non-contentious aspects.
Joyce and her team will be based in Beachcroft’s Leeds office. She formerly headed Eversheds’ Leeds asset management group and advised communications companies on site acquisitions, as well as landlord and tenant issues for occupiers.
Beachcroft real estate head Virginia Clegg said the appointment by O2 fitted into the firm’s technology and telecoms sector strategy.
The appointments bring Beachcroft’s real estate fee-earner headcount to 90, including 19 partners.
