What’s the dullest task you’ve ever been given?
I think it was reclassifying the natural sciences section in a library where I once worked. Alpha particles to Ova was fine but Plutonium to Zygote became tedious.

It would go very fast – as it would be red and Italian.

By looking at my Cannondale, then at my running shoes, then my trekking boots, then my unfinished copy of Finnegan’s Wake. Then I go out for a blast in the car.

Rare event, but when it happens it’s good.
Have you ever fallen in love at work? (If so, please provide details).
No, but I once fell down the stairs. It wasn’t my heart that was broken.
If you were a lawyer what would your practice area be and why?
IP and privacy. It’s right up there with issues of the day. Privacy is now something to be managed and how IP interacts with the internet is fascinating.

Probably defamation, but I am bound by a High Court gagging order not to say why.
