DLA Piper has appointed Horace Lam as a partner in its intellectual property and technology group in Beijing.
Lam will also fulfil the role of head of intellectual property in China and brings with him a team of four lawyers. Lam and his team will join DLA Piper in October.
He joins from Jones Day, also in Beijing, where he has been since 2011. Prior to Jones Day, Lam was at Hogan Lovells, where he was head of the China intellectual property practice and Beijing office managing partner.
