Since Guantao Law Firm was founded in 1994.
What deal/case in your career stands out the most and why?

They are:

The IPO of Jinduicheng Molybdenum Co., Ltd.and listing on Shanghai Stock Exchange, which is the largest molybdenum products producer in the PRC and Asia.

Hui Xian Real Estate Investment Trust’s IPO on HongKong Stock Exchange, which is the first RMB-denominated IPO outside mainland China.

The acquisition of Chongqing Huaya Modern Papers Co., Ltd by Financial Street Holdings Co., Ltd.(stock code: 000402 ) and advising on the refunding of Financial Street Holdings Co., Ltd. on many occasions.

What is the biggest challenge facing your market at the moment?

The China legal industry which is continuing changing at a rapid pace as law firms of all sizes scramble for work in an increasingly competitive environment, clients who require exact conformity to their demands and internationalization of legal practice pose challenge to the legal market.

What has been the most significant development in your sector in recent years? (this can be legal/technical)

The split-share structure reform of China security market

If you hadn’t been a lawyer, what would you have been?

I would be a professor in an university.

Which country do you travel to most frequently and which country do you like the best?

I have visited the United Kingdom for many times, and I like the Country foremost in terms of being a visitor or traveller.
What is your favourite book?

My favourite is Romances of the Three Kingdoms, written by LUO Guanzhong in the Ming Dynasty. It is a masterpiece of Chinese well-known classic novels.

What is your favourite restaurant?

I like Jinhucha Restaurant in financial street and Beijing Oi Suen of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Beijing Clubhouse.
