Outer Temple Chambers members speak at corporate crime conference

Richard Lissack QC and Eleanor Davison of Outer Temple Chambers were key panel speakers at the Herbert Smith Freehills — Corporate Crime and Investigations Conference.

Speakers included director of public prosecutions Alison Saunders and Serious Fraud Office (SFO) director David Green QC. Hosted by Rod Fletcher, Herbert Smith Freehills provided a number of panellists from its London, New York, Paris and Hong Kong offices.

Lissack was tasked with providing a defence perspective on international investigations and alternative resolutions to criminal matters with a particular focus on deferred prosecution agreements.  

Davison guided the delegates through the Treasury’s review of enforcement procedures for the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) regulatory financial crime priorities, and trends in FCA supervision and enforcement.
